30 day art challenge, day 10 - something you couldn’t live without

well, at first all i could think of was my phone but i was like damn, i can’t be that trivial, but as it turns out, i am! but then i was like oh right my friends so i was like omg my phone AND my friends, and since i’ve never really dedicated a drawing to brad and matt i was like omg yeah. and like brad and matt are two of my closest friends, they are the coolest guys ever and i just love them so much, i trust them with my life and they are the sweetest and the nicest and fuck i just wanna hug them a lot because i love them and it makes me so sad that i dont get to hang out with them because i love them so freaking much

so long story short. me, brad and matt, hanging out, being cute and shit.

PS. i’m gonna make those shirts one day and give them to them because they are the cutest dorks

For one of my classes we’re doing all the signage and stuff for the olympics! We could choose any country/city we wanted and we chose London because we thought it was freshest and we wanted to see what we could do to make it better. So I was doing all of the illustration for the olympic events (32+) but we decided it was way too much for such a little amount of time so we’re going in a different direction with a different style. But these are the ones I got to make: Archery, Fencing, Artistic Gymnastics, Basketball and Badminton. Our colour palette for these illustrations is very basic and neon complementary colours and we were very inspired by a sort of late 80s/early 90s vibe which I think came across pretty well. I was excited about this project because I saw it as a challenge for my abilities. I used a lot of references for these because I have no idea how bodies move in sports and I’m very happy with how these turned out! I just wish we had more time so we could continue down this road and I could make more but c’est la vie!

30 day art challenge, day 9 - your favourite cartoon/anime character

this was such a hard choice but i ended up going with marcie because i dont know i just love her a lot. i tried to play with the pose and movement and stuff to get out of my comfort zone and i’m very happy with how it turned out. it’s pretty huge so look at it in high res!! so you can see it properly and stuff cause i’m super proud

i made my best friend obsessed with rupaul’s drag race and one day out of the blue he was like ”…my drag name is Peaches Hellbox” and i couldn’t stop laughing ‘cause he’s the straightest guy ever and i love him so much so i drew him as peaches cause i just had to <3

More haunted hospital shenanigans. Raleigh Montgomery, chief surgeon of the hospital. Top surgeon in the state, she prefers a small town life. She’s possessed by an angry and seductive spirit after a small injury prevents her from performing surgery for a few weeks. Her fingers turn to scalpels when she’s evil.

edit: i realize i never wrote her story here! No one knows who she really is, only that she roams the halls without attracting much attention. it’s rumored she was one of the first nurses to work at the hospital when it was a mental health asylum in the 60s. if someone knows what’s really up with the hospital it’s her but no one dares to approach her. She likes to be alone and if someone interrupts her she gets mad and dangerous. her real name is Rose Anne.
